Meditation

Find a comfortable place to settle into a quiet, receptive state. Practice gradually deepening equal breathing, becoming more sensitive to sound as you listen for the stillness within. Props Suggested: A blanket or bolster to sit on.

Yoga

Level 1-2 60 mins

Learning to listen with the whole body. This slow meditative flow attunes the body/mind instrument to listen in order to follow the inner promptings and to recognize those instances of synchronicity. Props Suggested: A block, blanket and bolster.

Level 2 45 mins

The beauty of a morning practice is it is very conducive to meditation and deep inner listening. This is a spacious flow with emphasis on breath, quietude, and quality of attention. Sun salutations (surya namaskar A) and a playful variation on B series with tree (vrksasana) eagle (garudasana) & pyramid (parsvottanasana) crescent flow. Leg energizing sequence with temple, warrior 2 (virabhadrasana) triangle (utthita trikonasana) and extended side angle pose (utthita parsvakonasana). Opportunity for bunny hop handstand (balance and energy permitting!!!). Chair twist (parsva utkatasana) and backbends to finish. Featuring a strong, heat building standing pose flow, including warriors 1, 2 and half moon pose. Also includes multiple spinal twists to detoxify the internal organs. Concludes with hip and thigh openers and upper back bends. Connect to the importance of listening to the messages your body is sending to stay healthy during the winter season.

This mantra-based practice will help you access a higher level of communication. It consists of a simple mudra and a mantra chanted for eleven minutes. If you are looking to refine your communication skills, give it a try!

Yoga

Level 2 60 mins

For moments when it's time to come clean, to listen and receive, this practice will help you dissolve your assumptions, ask the right questions and stay in touch with yourself. Start with a facial massage done on your back to make contact with your body. Quick cross referencing sun salutations warm you up and change the way you see and feel. Backbends follow, with a long held gomukhasana and bananasana to conclude before a sweet savasana. Props Needed: A block.
