Gustavo is a fitness instructor living in Austin, Texas with a desire to inspire and empower people through high-spirited classes. While preparing for a career in the field of medicine, Gustavo suffered a hamstring injury while running. On his quest to heal his body and manage stress, he discovered yoga. Over the last eight years, Gustavo has been uplifting his community through joyful movement, soothing meditations, and light-hearted classes.
Gustavo's offerings expand beyond the mat; he is a personal trainer, a booty shaker, and a former SoulCycle Instructor. He has been a speaker and instructor with the South by Southwest festival and recently partnered with goop, for their launch of goop league. His fierce passion for sharing the ancient lineage of yoga has blessed him with the opportunity to lead numerous international yoga retreats and yoga teacher trainings. When not teaching, you can find Gustavo at a coffee shop writing a blog for local publications or crafting his upcoming book.
