Gustavo is a fitness instructor living in Austin, Texas with a desire to inspire and empower people through high-spirited classes. While preparing for a career in the field of medicine, Gustavo suffered a hamstring injury while running. On his quest to heal his body and manage stress, he discovered yoga. Over the last eight years, Gustavo has been uplifting his community through joyful movement, soothing meditations, and light-hearted classes.

Gustavo's offerings expand beyond the mat; he is a personal trainer, a booty shaker, and a former SoulCycle Instructor. He has been a speaker and instructor with the South by Southwest festival and recently partnered with goop, for their launch of goop league. His fierce passion for sharing the ancient lineage of yoga has blessed him with the opportunity to lead numerous international yoga retreats and yoga teacher trainings. When not teaching, you can find Gustavo at a coffee shop writing a blog for local publications or crafting his upcoming book.

Level 2 30 mins

Build strength and endurance in your practice so you can flow with more confidence and ease. This yoga conditioning incorporates weights into variations of Sun Salutations. Each sequence includes Lunges, Tricep Kickbacks, Warrior II with Side Raises, and Side Plank with Bicep Curls to build heat as you tone your entire body. This class was previously streamed on July 23, 2021. Props Required: 5-10 lb. dumbbells.

This Vinyasa practice taps into your inner wisdom to build your confidence and find your flow. Begin with a few rounds of guided Sun Salutations, then try them on your own. Remember to be kind to yourself with this practice. If you forget a pose or falter, it's no biggie! Let your body guide you. Peak poses include, Horse Pose, Eagle, and Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose).
