Pilates Fusion

A blend of Mat Pilates and different workout techniques including barre, yoga, strength training, cardio, and dance.

Pilates Fusion incorporates exercises from different workout styles—including barre, yoga, strength training, cardio, and dance—to give a modern twist to Mat Pilates. Similar to Mat Pilates, this style has a deep focus on the core and emphasizes moves that will tone, stretch, and elongate muscles.

A go-to choice for any time of day, this Pilates fusion class builds strength and lengthens your body for a comprehensive, quick workout. You’ll utilize hand weights and work your core, upper body, and lower body. Warm up, then move briskly through Single-Leg Stretch, Cherry Pickers, Leg Lowers, Criss Cross, Bicep Curls, Lunges, Push Ups, and a quick Down Dog and Low Lunge to finish. This Pilates fusion practice incorporates control, balance, and breath to strengthen your core and mind-body connection. Using ankle weights and a small stability ball, you'll move with intention through Down Dog, Lunge, a side-lying outer thigh series, All Fours glutes work, Bridge work, Pilates abdominal exercises, and a kneeling arm series. Return to this class all summer long for a slow, focused workout. This class previously aired on May 26, 2025.

This mixed-modality workout blends cardio bursts with Pilates and yoga to strengthen your body and mind-to-muscle connection. Warm up, then power through Sun Salutations, Planks, core work, Barre exercises, Pilates ab exercises, Bridge work, and a prone glute series.
