Jeni, a So Cal native, grew up dancing and being active from an early age. After dancing competitively and professionally for 18+ years, she majored in fashion and worked in the apparel industry for four years until she realized that she was missing the amazing feeling that dancing and being active gave her throughout the day. So, she decided to take a chance and leave the apparel industry to go back to her roots.

Now, slightly obsessed with fitness, Jeni loves training - strength training, boxing, cycling, yoga - it all makes sense to her because of her deep roots with Pilates. Pilates is the base of all her routines. No matter what workout she's doing, it provides the foundation for her body to take it on. Her upbeat and supportive attitude makes you want to come to her class every day for the challenging workout, but also to just spend time with her. Basically, she's the ideal combination of attentive trainer and best friend.

Jeni is nationally certified through the Pilates training program at Equinox. She is also certified in Barworks through Yogaworks and cycling through Schwinn.

Fitness

Level 2 45 mins

This well-rounded workout combines bursts of high-intensity cardio with strength exercises followed by a 15-minute stretch recovery. Begin with a quick warm-up then hit it hard for 25 minutes with three rounds of HIIT exercises including Split Jumps, Lunges, Jumping Jacks, Squats, and High Knees followed by core work. Finish with a thorough 15-minute stretch session to improve flexibility, mobility, and recover. This class was previously recorded on July 16, 2021

Level 2-3 20 mins

Get a great sweat with quick cardio, lots of core work, and ZERO crunches. This quick and creative workout gets the job done without any strain or boring exercises. This series includes Plie Twists, Planks, Shoulder Taps, Tick-Tocks, and Corkscrew. This class was previously streamed on June 9, 2021. Props Suggested: Sneakers or tennis shoes.

Pilates

Level 2 15 mins

This is the fifth and final day of our 15-Minute 5-Day Core Challenge. Incorporate all the skills you’ve learned throughout this challenge and apply them to this core sequence, This class will help to strengthen, tone, and build heat through controlled resistance work. Target the muscles that support a powerful core for improved posture and strength that radiates from the inside-out. This class was previously scheduled to stream on June 18, 2021.
