A low-impact strength, cardio, and endurance workout inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates.

Barre is a low-impact, high-reward, full-body workout inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It’s a style of training that combines strength, cardio, and endurance using high repetitions and a small range of movement to develop strength and flexibility from the ankles through the calves, knees, thighs, glutes, and abdominals. Not only does it sculpt stronger, more defined muscles, but it also promotes better posture, balance, and range of motion.

A gentle Barre-inspired routine to activate muscles, release stress, and leave you feeling great! This unconventional, stretch-infused workout includes Pilates variations in Plié, Arabesque, Passé, Grand Plié, and Developpé. Props Suggested: a chair.

This class covers all the basics of traditional barre and moves swiftly, but feel free to slow to a pace that’s comfortable. Props Required: Barre, chair, or countertop. Don’t waste any time—get moving with this effective full-body Barre class. Warm up with Pliés and Squats, then move into oblique Crunches, forward and side Kicks, and Clams. Finish with a stretch series to unwind and release. This class was previously aired on November 9, 2021.
