This Hatha class helps you return to your practice after recovering from a lower back injury. The steady, safe sequence aims to lengthen your hamstrings, hip flexors, and outer hips while maintaining a neutral spine, all in an effort to re-establish your standing poses and begin to recover your core strength. Highlights include reclined leg stretches, Anjaneyasana (Crescent), modified Down Dog, Warrior II, modified Warrior I, and Plank. Please note: This class is for those returning to practice after lower back pain, looking to relieve discomfort, and does not support injury management. We suggest consulting with your doctor or physical therapist before practicing if necessary.
