Set yourself up to sleep soundly in this practice that relaxes your body and mind. Start with gentle movements to release tension in your neck and shoulders, then move quietly into poses for your hips and lower back, including Reclined Twist, Janu Sirsasana (Head-To-Knee Forward Fold), Child’s Pose, Viparita Karani (Legs Up The Wall), and Sphinx Pose. Bonus: This class can be done anywhere — in bed or on a yoga mat — and is especially beneficial while traveling. This class previously aired on August 15, 2024. This is the second class in Ali’s three-class Evening Yoga Series, which combines gentle and restorative yoga techniques to alleviate stress, wind down, and prepare for rest.
