Coming Back From Injury: Shoulders
Coming Back From Injury: Shoulders is a three-class Hatha program designed to support a gradual, intelligent return to practice after shoulder injury or ongoing shoulder pain. Rather than rushing back into familiar shapes, this series emphasizes rebuilding strength, restoring functional mobility, and re-establishing confidence in shoulder movement through steady pacing and clearly structured progressions. Across the program, practitioners revisit essential shoulder-strengthening patterns and learn how to apply them safely within common postures, including Down Dog, Chaturanga, and Sun Salutations. Each class builds on the last—moving from foundational strength and stability, to integrated weight-bearing, to full-body coordination—helping the shoulders relearn how to support the demands of practice without strain. This program is intended for those returning after injury or pain and does not replace medical care; consultation with a healthcare professional is recommended when appropriate.
