Meditation encompasses a variety of techniques to train your mind and focus your awareness. From mantra recitation and guided visualization to mindfulness and breath awareness—the landscape of meditation is exciting and varied. Consistently engaging with one or more of these techniques can be profoundly impactful on its own, and is also a powerful way to deepen your yoga practice.

All it takes is 20 minutes to change your perspective. This meditation is a practice in awareness using a variety of techniques that incorporate the eyes, breath, and mind. Practice this meditation both standing and seated. Props Required: choose a seat using a bolster, 2-3 blankets, or a chair.

Sink into this grounding meditation to create space for awareness in your body and mind without reactivity. Practice uplifting breathing techniques to help facilitate a “withdrawal of the senses” or Pratyahara. This class was previously streamed on June 3, 2021.

Burnout can creep up or hit you like a train. No matter where it finds you, Yoga Nidra is a great remedy to rejuvenate your body and renew your connection to source. This grounding class is done entirely in Savasana to practice resting in awareness. Props Suggested: a bolster, eye pillow, or blanket.

This meditation uses the power of sound and vibrations to capture awareness and clear the mind. Begin with the sound of OM and break it into its individual tonal sounds: A, U, and M.
