It can be challenging to negotiate your practice in the midst of drastic changes to your body. Before or after surgery, we're practicing not necessarily to go back to where we were, but to recalibrate ourselves so we can be comfortable in the body we have right now. This gentle practice will lead you through seated and reclined side stretches and twists along with mellow openers like supported bridge pose, all leading toward savasana so you can let yourself rest in all the ways your body and heart need. Props Suggested: Two blocks, a blanket, and a bolster.
