Balance the qualities and elements of nature and learn how to use the stability of tamas and vibrance of rajas to cultivate the luminous sattva guna in our yoga practice and in our mind. An all around practice with detailed alignment cues. Beginning with dandasana, the class slowly builds through Adho Mukha Svanasana, Tadasana, Uttanasana, Virabhadrasana 2, leading to Headstand, shoulderstand and a brief savasana. Props Needed: Three blankets, a block and a strap.
