It’s natural to feel a sense of heaviness as the days become shorter. This session serves as a practice to lift your spirit and find your inner light through a combination of seated meditation, mantra, and movement. Begin with a mantra, “The world needs me to be exactly who I am,” then shift into Salambasana with ‘C’ arms and Child’s Pose in preparation to build heat. Find your body’s unique movement in Cat/Cow, then move through a dynamic Plank series and into your first flow complete with Lunges, Vira 2 and Reverse Vira, Parsvakonasana and Reverse Warrior. Test your balance in Dragon Lunge by capturing the back foot. Find Bridge to counterpose and a Figure Four stretch with a “Less is more” mantra.
