A spacious and nurturing class to support those of you who are going through the grieving process. Focus is on bringing breath deeply into the body, moving with kindness allowing yourself to be where you are. Take time to work yourself around your entire body, with lunges, forward bends, twists and hip openers. Focusing on the support of other yogis also going through grief can be comforting.

Prop Needed: Pen and paper to write on.

Yoga

Level 2-3 60 mins

When your spirit has been broken, you feel defeated, or you're grieving, sometimes a practice that helps you blow off some steam and "get back on the horse" is just what is needed rather than something slow or gentle. This is straight up vinyasa, warrior poses, and hand balancings for a full body rush of transformative power when times are tough.

Yoga

Level 2 45 mins

Embody the fierce energy of the warrior goddess, Durga, as you explore themes of strength, courage, and persistence. This strong hip-opening practice begins with her story and mantra, then moves through powerful vinyasas with deep squats and lunges, like malasana, goddess pose, and skandasana. You'll call forth your own fearless heart as you flow, then allow Durga's protective energy to settle with a deep stretch and savasana.
